A Note from Our Founders
Hello, and welcome to Humble Faith Ministries! We are so excited you're here and can't wait to embark on an amazing adventure with you!
Our journey together began over a decade ago at our church's MOPS group when our boys were little. Since then, the Lord has taught us many lessons, preparing us individually and together for this new assignment.
Our heart's desire is to help you grow in your relationship with Christ so that you can live the abundant life He has planned for you! We know that happens one small step at a time. We hope to inspire and cheer you on as you pursue Jesus!
We can't wait to get started!
With love,
Chrissie & Erin

Chrissie Angell
Executive Director & Co-Founder
Hello! I’m Chrissie Angell, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Humble Faith Ministries.
I’ve been blessed to meet women from all ages, stages, and walks of life. Those experiences have taught me that we are all so very similar in our humanness. We want to be seen, to be supported, to be loved. We long to find fulfillment, live out our calling, and know our life has value. I am passionate about equipping and empowering women to fulfill their God-created purposes by helping them learn to walk alongside Christ.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 29:11-14a (ESV)
As a speaker, writer, and Bible teacher I’ve had the opportunity to teach women through MOPS, PWOC, and women’s ministry events across the nation. After serving women through Army opportunities and women’s ministry roles for over fifteen years, I’ve fallen in love with my call to minister to women.
I’m an ordinary, small-town girl who hates exercise but loves chocolate and potato chips. I’m married to Brian; the sweet boy turned love-of-my-life from our high school French class. We have two boys who are growing way too quickly; they fill our home with joy I never imagined possible.

Erin Nonaka
Director of Communications and Community & Co-Founder
Hi! I’m Erin, Director of Communications and Community and Co-Founder of Humble Faith Ministries.
I love Jesus deeply. My heart yearns to see women understand their purpose as followers of Christ and equip them to walk courageously with Him. In communities constantly changing and sending mixed messages about who we are, it is crucial for us to find and be people who stay grounded in the truth of God’s Word. I believe that community and unity in the body of Christ happen when we live out God’s truth daily. This includes living each day with the understanding and awareness that God IS who He says He is.
“I implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:1-3 (NASB)
Over the last two decades, I have been captivated by the Lord’s heart for us as women in the church. That heart is for us to understand, cultivate, and remain IN Christ. We are worthy because of Him, and we need to walk in it! My experiences serving as an Army wife, worship leader, Bible teacher, and women’s ministry director have ignited my heart’s passion for inspiring & inviting women to walk boldly in this knowledge and goodness of God.
I am an Iowa-born California girl who moved away from home after college. I met and married my husband, Evan, and have been traveling the nation (and sometimes the world) with our three sons ever since. With a house full of busy boys, I take great joy in chillin’ out with my furbaby, Caroline. I am grateful & wildly nostalgic for all the adventures and experiences our family has together.

Cyndi Bujarski
Director of Resource Development
My name is Cyndi Bujarski. I reside in Kentucky with my husband and our four children. I have been involved in Women’s ministry for almost 15 years.
My desire to study the Scripture has led me to learn and eventually teach inductive Bible studies over the past several years. Soon after learning how to teach inductive studies, the Lord put it on my heart to begin writing studies to serve my church’s needs better. Now, I am blessed to be using these skills at Humble Faith as the Director of Resource Development to inspire women to study God’s Word in a new and meaningful way. My mission is to increase Bible literacy by teaching women how to open God’s word, read, and understand it for themselves.
“Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 (NASB)
I consider myself a life-long learner and love to read not only God’s word but also works of fiction and non-fiction. I love hiking with my family and take every opportunity to enjoy God’s creation.
"And he gave ... teachers, to equip the saints
for the work of ministry,
for building up the body of Christ."
