Hope in the Suffering

There are seasons in life when our circumstances can seem too much to handle. Times of trials or sorrows threaten our faith that God is good.

I want to assure you today that no matter what you're walking through, God is still good! Lamentations 3:22-23 (HCSB) proclaims that "because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!"

Because of the Lord's eternal faithfulness, love, and mercies, we can say, "The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him." Lamentations 3:24 (HCSB)

Friend, whatever you're walking through today, take it to the Lord and place your hope in Him. Through our pain and our trials, we can experience a supernatural hope that only comes from Him.

Life is messy. Pain and suffering are an inevitable part of this world, but God is greater, and He wants to love you through those seasons.

Loving, merciful Lord, thank You for Your lavish love and mercies that never end. Thank You that You are faithful through the storms. I don't understand why I'm walking through this season, but I trust You; I place my hope in You alone. In Jesus' name, amen.
