What do you speak to yourself, dear friend?

Are you harboring any bitterness towards yourself that you need to wash away with words of grace and truth?

What are you speaking to your heart, dear one?

Anger and impatience cannot nurture and grow your mind. Do not expect to find roses if you have planted weeds.

Daughter, mother, sister, friend; speak what is good. Speak the truth! Speak that which is right and pure.

What are you watering your heart with? Is it with toxic waters? If you water with sickly water, how will the beautiful grow?

You are the gardener, the gatekeeper, the grounds-woman of your thoughts;

those icky, rotting lies that creep in or breakthrough can be turned away.

There is no honor in the martyrdom of letting them kill, steal, and destroy.

Instead, dear one, accept the balm of truth that is His love.

You are in Christ now! Rejoice in the victory! You have overcome the world by becoming one with Him!

Now, you are New!

Now, you are Loved!

Now, you are known, remembered, and treasured!

Now, you are in the Light- as He is the Light!

Now, you are forgiven - the old has gone, and the new has come!

Now you walk in beauty, elegance, and uprightness. There is no room for hateful or despicable thoughts.

You are a daughter of the King, lovely one!

Don’t tell yourself otherwise.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 KJV
